Batch Roller Hearth Furnace

Therser Wellman supply both gas-fired and electrically heated batch roller hearth furnaces, suitable for a wide range of industrial applications and over a wide range of load shapes and sizes.

Whilst operating as batch processing, the roller bed in the hearth of the furnace allows for easy loading and un loading of component parts or baskets and also allows parts to be oscillated across the roller bed whilst being processed for excellent heat transfer and temperature uniformity.

This type of furnace also lends itself very well to an inline twin chamber application, whereby products can pass from a preheating (front) chamber to a soaking (back) chamber, via an inner lift/lower door, without leaving the furnace. Exiting out of the back chamber means that the next part would have already started its processing cycle and remains unaffected by the discharge of the previous part.

Many can also be applied with protective/reactive atmospheres to prevent oxidization (In process) or enhance metallurgical properties within parts.

Our Batch Roller Hearth Furnaces can also be designed to meet the high performance demands within thermal processing standards such as AMS 2750G, GE and Rolls Royce standards, to name a few.

This type of furnace would be suitable for many types of component heat treatment processes where you require the stability of batch heating with a process time saving in semi continuous output.
