Company History
Therser is a specialist kiln, furnace and exhaust purification company, serving manufacturing businesses in a range of sectors around the world.
The company was formed in 2009 by experienced engineers and managers drawn from the ceramics industry. We have combined expertise in kilns, furnaces, production line management, clean air solutions and manufacturing legislation. The business name is an abbreviation of ‘Thermal Services’, reflecting the broad scope of the solutions we offer our customers.
Our goal is to provide each customer with a bespoke solution to meet the challenges of their industry. From our Head Office and workshop in Burslem, near Stoke-on-Trent, we offer a comprehensive range of manufacturing and consulting services. These can be taken as stand-alone services, or as part of wider design and manufacturing solution.
Manufacturing Solutions
We are a market leader in kiln and furnace design, producing energy efficient, high performance units and all their associated products, including RTOs and afterburners. Our products are designed and manufactured here in the UK according to the highest international engineering standards. Each design is unique to our customers, providing you with a bespoke solution that meets all the needs of your business. Our services include:

Repair & Maintenance
We can provide scheduled preventative maintenance and reactive repairs for all models of industrial kiln or furnace. Our support services include remote telephone support by qualified engineers, manufacturer approved spares and on-site visits where required. We also offer:
- Kiln calibration
- Repairs and spare parts
- Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)

With more than 150 years combined experience in the manufacturing industry, our team are well placed to help our customers improve efficiency, meet environmental standards and reduce production costs.
