We design a range of efficient afterburners that help you manage harmful exhaust emissions and comply with clean air regulations. Afterburners can be used with any gas operated kiln or industrial furnace, converting complex hydrocarbons into CO2 and water, as well as NOx into nitrogen and water.
Compliance & Energy Savings
Our Therser afterburners are heat efficient and designed to match your output needs and clean-air requirements. They operate using six or more burners, with adjustable incineration temperatures of between 900°C and 1,100°C. Air ducts at the top of the incinerator tube allow rapid cooling of the purified exhaust.
Our afterburners are prefabricated at our factory near Stoke-on-Trent. The afterburners are made from mild steel casing, with inner walls insulated with refractory bricks. Temperature control is aided with an adjustable burner combustion fan. We can develop afterburners as stand-alone units or as integral components of a bespoke kiln. We can also retrofit afterburners to some existing kilns.
